Click any question to expand the answer.
How do I file a claim?
Go to the Claims tab and click "File a Claim." Select the affected system, describe the issue, and submit. A technician will contact you within 4 hours. There is no service call fee on any covered claim.
What is my annual coverage cap?
Your Premium Shield™ plan includes a $5,000 annual coverage cap. This resets on your plan anniversary date each year. Your current remaining coverage is shown on the Overview tab.
Does my plan cover full unit replacement?
No — Laguna Shield™ covers the repair or replacement of parts and components within covered systems. Full unit replacement (e.g., a brand new A/C condenser) is not included. If repair costs exceed the per-item cap, we will pay up to the cap amount.
How do I update my payment method?
Go to the Billing tab. Click "Update Payment Method" on your payment card. You can add a new credit/debit card or bank account. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.
What is the cancellation policy?
You may cancel within your first 30 days for a full refund (minus any claims paid). After 30 days, the full remaining annual balance is due upon cancellation — no pro-rated refunds. See the full Refund Policy for details.
