Plans are billed monthly on a 12-month service agreement. You may cancel within the first 30 days for a full refund — no questions asked, provided no claims have been filed and no service has been dispatched. After 30 days, the full remaining balance for your 12-month term is due upon cancellation — there are no pro-rated refunds. When you enroll, Laguna Shield™ immediately commits licensed contractor capacity and dispatch infrastructure in your service area on your behalf. This ensures consistent standards and removes the guesswork of finding a reliable contractor. Custom technician requests may be accommodated for Elite plan members in select areas.

Examples of what is covered: a blown capacitor in your A/C, a faulty igniter in your furnace, a broken pump in your dishwasher, a worn drum bearing in your washer.

Examples of what is not covered: replacing an entire HVAC unit, purchasing a new refrigerator because the old one has failed beyond repair, or installing a new water heater as a full unit swap. If a system is deemed non-repairable, the cost of a replacement unit is the member's responsibility.

Laguna Shield covers the cost of diagnosing, repairing, and replacing parts within covered home systems and appliances due to mechanical or electrical failure — which homeowners insurance typically does not cover. Note: Laguna Shield covers parts and labor, not full equipment or unit replacement. They are complementary products, not substitutes.
